Nintendo E3 Digital Event Wrap Up

The first game footage shown highlighted the Miis in Super Smash Bros. 4. The Miis come in three different variates: Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter, and Mii Gunner.

Amiibo was announced, which is a RFID chip in figures that can be read by the WiiU gamepad. This will be used in Super Smash Bros Wii U. Fighters will gain skill over the course of fighting and then will be sent back to the figure.

A short video was shown of Yoshi’s Wooly World. It was stated this game would be more focused on exploration due to the lack of time limit. Multiplayer was shown.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was announced for Holiday 2014. It appears to be a Mario 3d World like game starring Toad.

Legend of Zelda Wii U was announced, a release window was set for 2015.

A trailer for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire was shown. A released date was given as November 21, 2014.

A trailer for Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta one will be included and include Nintendo specific stuff such as costumes.

Hyrule Warriors was shown. Zelda and Midna will be playable characters.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse was announced. it has a claymation look and was given the release window of 2015.

Monolith Soft showed off Xenoblade Chronicles X it’s new game which involves mechs fighting giant monsters. It was given the release window of 2015.

Mario Maker was announced. It involves you creating your own Mario levels. In classic 2D or in a New Super Mario Bros style. It was given the release window of 2015.

Splatoon was announced, it is a 4 on 4 online multiplayer game. You shoot ink to cover the map and whoever has the most covered area wins. You can also transform into a squid that can swim through your own ink.

Lady Palutena was announced for Super Smash Bros. 4. Dark Pit was hinted at being playable.
