Feast your eyes on this PlayStation Store Resident Evil Sale
Cut down zombies at cut down prices!

If you’re a survival horror fan, then chances are that you’ve either played at least one game in the long-running Resident Evil franchise or played a game that took inspiration from it. While some fans would argue that the games have declined in quality and lost their roots, this series that birthed the “Golden Age” of survival horror is still shambling along steadily nearly 20 years later. It’s spawned tons of spin-off games, comics, and even a questionable string of movies. The latest entry in the series, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Episode 1, comes out later this month on the 24th. This makes it all the more appropriate that the PlayStation Store is running a huge sale on Resident Evil games from now until the 10th. Whether you’re a Master of Unlocking who wants to warm yourself up for Revelations 2 or a newcomer who’s never touched a Resident Evil game before, now is the perfect time to dive into the franchise.

50% off:

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis for $2.99

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles HD for $7.49

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles HD for $7.49

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles HD Collection for $13.49

66% off:

Resident Evil 4 HD for $6.99

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition for $9.99

Resident Evil 6 for $6.99

Resident Evil 6 Ultimate Edition for $13.99

Resident Evil HD bundle for $9.99 (includes Resident Evil 4 HD and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD)

Resident Evil Franchise Pack for $19.99 (includes Resident Evil 4 HD, Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, and Resident Evil 6)

70% off:

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X HD for $5.99

75% off:

Resident Evil: Revelations for $9.99

Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City for $9.99

Unfortunately for jokes, none of the games are 66.6% off, but these deals are tempting even without the number of the beast involved. I’d reccomend picking up Resident Evil: Revelations if you’re looking for more “traditional” survival-horror gameplay, known VGCC favorite Resident Evil 4 if you want something with a bit more action to it, or the Umbrella Chronicles HD Collection if you’re a fan of on-rails shooters. Hopefully there’s at least one game on this list that can satisfy your zombie and technically-not-zombie slaying urges.
